Bisquet Balou C is a genetically anchored sire with much potential and whose pedigree makes him a top progenitor. Balou de Rouet and Philipa’s (Polydor) son is an approved breeding stallion for BWP as well as Selle Français. He made a name for himself in young horse competitions and later in CSI5* with Nicola Philippaerts, and is now gradually becoming a very promising sire of young horses. His grandsire Baloubet du Rouet is considered a living legend and he is currently number one in the WBFSH ranking. Sire Balou du Rouet was self-victorious at the international level and the supplier of 5* winning jumpers like Balloon, Balzac, Balou’s Herb, Baltimore, and Baranus. Polydor was number one in the 1999 WBFSH ranking and this is thanks to the performances of his most memorable offspring: Two Steps, Positano, Coolgirl, Peu A Peu, Pilgrim II and many others. Further in the dam line we find top progenitors such as Cor de la Bruyere, Rantzau xx, Furioso xx, Ladykiller xx and Put xx. Bisquet Balou C has an excellent step, very spacious trot and a large, powerful canter that can be easily collected. He obtains all the desired qualities on the jump: honest, careful, technique, balance, print and power. All this is combined with a golden character that really makes him stand out. Bisquet Balou C’s offspring makes it good as well. He has a few approved BWP sons like Jon Pleasure van de Mispelaere (Bisquet Balou C x Up Chiqui, °2009). His foals, No Mercy v/d Caatshoeve (Bisquet Balou C x Clinton, °2013) and Nobisco v/d Doornhaag (Bisquet Balou C x Toulon, °2013) were sold at high rates the BWP Auction Antwerp 2013.
