The Breeders Association of Friuli Venezia Giulia and the foundation of the Bulls and Stallions Center of Tori Moruzzo

The steps that have lead the Center are intertwined with history of the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia for the reproduction of bulls of naturally serve and the following innovations.
The former Bulls and Stallion Center of Moruzzo was built in the1970 from a non-profit association that olny wanted to help the breeders of the region with new services, called Regional Center of Artificial Insemination. Consistently at his purpose, the fundamental goal of the Center was to establish an only regional center of artificial insemination for the cattle species with the purpose to uniform the choises of the breeders with the artificial insemination. The Regional Center of Artificial Insemination aimed at promoting and helping the trial to improove of the breed, by making new studies in genetics and phisiologics of the reproduction.The utmost attention is still now devoted to fight the genetic diseases.
The Bulls and Stallions Center of Moruzzo have reached the 'maturity' once connected with the Association of Breeders of Friuli Venezia Giulia, born in the 1994. After that the Center was registered with the recognicion code CDD008, and then being recognised in the 2006, according to the legislation, as a collecting Center of seminal material and for exchange, with the codoes IT08 for the cattle and IT09Eq for the horses.
